Consultation is by appointment only. Due to the current pandemic and emergency footing all appointments will be triaged by a GP, the GP will contact you via telephone or via email (econsult) if they decide you need to be seen for a face to face appointment they will discuss this with you and make arrangements to bring you into the practice to be seen for further investigations.  Nurse appointments are available for prebooking at the request of the GP.

We currently use signposting to direct you to the most appropriate professional to help you.  The trained call handlers will ask you to give them a brief description of your problem, this will be completely confidential and they will be able to book you in to the relevant GP/Physiotherapist/Mental Health Practitioner etc or give further advice on the best service to use.  We also ask for a brief description in order to determine the length of appointment required to see the nurse as some conditions can takelonger than the allocated 10 minute appointment slot.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
